White corundum particle size sand is an artificial abrasive made from high-quality alumina powder through high-temperature melting, cooling, crushing, shaping, screening and other processes in an electric arc furnace. It has the characteristics of high hardness, high wear resistance, and good chemical stability, and is widely used in grinding, polishing, refractory materials, precision casting and other fields.
1、 Production process
Raw material preparation: High purity aluminum oxide powder (Al ₂ O3 content ≥ 99%) is used as the raw material to ensure product performance.
High temperature melting: alumina powder is put into an electric arc furnace and melted and crystallized at a temperature above 2000 ℃ to form white corundum melt.
Cooling and crushing: After the melt is cooled, it undergoes processes such as coarse and fine crushing to produce granular white corundum.
Shaping and screening: Processing the particles into spherical or pointed shapes through autogenous grinding or Bamac ball mill, and then screening to obtain products with different particle sizes (such as F4-F320).
Iron removal and packaging: Iron impurities are removed by magnetic separation to improve purity, and finally packaged according to customer requirements (such as 25 kg/bag).

High hardness and wear resistance: Mohs hardness level 9, second only to diamond, strong wear resistance, suitable for efficient grinding.
Good chemical stability: resistant to acid and alkali corrosion, suitable for various chemical environments.
